This birthday cake is a chocolate cake filled with oreo crumbs and vanilla buttercream. The cake's theme was centered around the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas". The character on the front is Jack Skellington. The quotes around the sides of the cake say "What's this? What's this?" and "I can't believe my eyes!" Both are memorable quotes from the movie and add to the overall effect of the cake. The X's around the top look similar to stitching seen in the movie. All of the cake decorations are done in buttercream.

I love how you use buttercream instead of cheating and using Fondant... that stuff tastes desgusting. My aunt and uncle payed a rediculous amount of money on their wedding cake, and everybody just peeled the fondont off. :) but this cake imparticular looks JUST LIKE him! Super cute. I also liked the dragonfly cake. :) you have such talent! Haha, at my school, i have a friend that wants to be a cake decorator and I'll have to show her this because it's so cool.! :)
